What we promise

• We never sell your information to a third party — data brokers, advertisers, or otherwise.
• We never share your information for someone else’s marketing or analytics.
• Releasing information to anyone else only happens with your written consent, or under the narrow exceptions below.

What we collect

• Account— name, email, hashed password, sign-in timestamps. Created by sign-up, used for sign-in.
• Launch plan intake— airframe, home market, niche pick, starter budget, and monthly income goal. Used to generate a recommendation only; never sold.
• Buyer advisor— the five wizard answers (goal, environment, experience, budget band, niche). Used to recommend an airframe; stored against your account.
• Mission planner— mission details (location, drone, type, date) for the preflight PDF and audit trail.
• Contact form— name, email, and message. Used to reply to your note and stored in the customer log.

Where exceptions are allowed

The promise above is the rule; the list below is the narrow set of situations where information may move without your written consent. Each one is bound to a specific operational need — not a business opportunity.

• Legal process— valid subpoena, court order, or equivalent legal compulsion. We narrow the disclosure to what the order requires and document the request.
• Contracted service providers — vendors acting on Hoverkeep’s behalf (hosting, email delivery, error monitoring) under a written contract that limits use to the service they perform.
• Payment processing— the information a payment processor needs to clear a transaction you have initiated. This is necessary to fulfill the transaction, not an open data-sharing relationship.
• Upstream regulatory verification — if an identity check is required by an FAA, state, or other regulator as part of a workflow you have asked us to perform (for example, a future credential verification surfaced through the platform), the minimum identity confirmation goes to that regulator.

Your controls

You can ask us to delete your account, export your records, or tell us to stop using a field for a particular workflow. The records vault exports as a single zipped folder (flight logs, battery cycles, credentials, client jobs, audit reports) so your records do not get trapped behind a subscription.
